YouTube Compression Experiment Part I

I’ve always been curious what makes for a good YouTube video and what makes for a bad one. There are literally thousands of tutorials and recipes out there that claim to have the perfect solution but they all differ greatly. To see if I could find out what format actually works best I uploaded the same video in a multitude of different formats for side-by-side comparison.

An in-depth analysis with screen grabs of original files vs. YouTube compression will be up shortly but for now you can take a look and leave your comments in the comments.
