TiVo - Now also with online photos from Picasa and Photobucket

Written on December 3, 2007 – 8:50 pm | by Morten Rand-Hendriksen |

As of today you can access Picasa and Photobucket albums through your broadband connected TiVo. If you have a TiVo HD or a Series 3 box you can even see them in HD (if you have a HDTV that is). This move indicates that TiVo has realized they need to move beyond mere recording to keep their lions’ share of the PVR market. Too bad it doesn’t also support Flickr where all the good stuff is hiding.
